SEE MY WORK

I do not have a web-based shop but I am happy to receive enquiries about my work. My photographs give a 2-D representation but cannot replace the experience of holding and exploring an object with the hand and eye. Here are a few examples of current and future opportunities to view my work in person.

My studio

My studio is at my home in rural Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. If I am at home, my studio is open and I am happy to receive visitors!

There will be a selection of work on display as well as work in progress.

The Whitehouse Gallery, Kirkcudbright

The Whitehouse Gallery in Kirkcudbright has been very supportive to me as an emerging artist. The gallery curates a vibrant series of seasonal exhibitions. In 2024 I will have new work appearing in Canvas and Clay 3 (springtime) and in the autumn exhibition. However, in addition, I have work available in their web-shop as well as in gallery at other times.

First Gallery, Coldstream

It’s really exciting to be exhibiting work in this gallery recently opened in the Scottish Borders town of Coldstream. The exhibition opened 19th February and continues until mid May 2024. Alongside my work there are paintings by Bella Green and gilded panels by Nancy Chinnery.

The gallery is within the office space of Hastings Legal and therefore open only during business hours. Never-the-less

it is a beautiful and welcoming exhibition space.

Spring Fling Open Studios 2024

Fortunately I have made a successful application for Spring Fling 2024. This will be my third appearance at this flagship “Upland” event. Dates for 2024 are 25th-27th May.

My studio is Number 80 on the Orange Route which takes in Lower Nithsdale. Brochures are now available and can be collected from some tourist and art venues or on application to the Spring Fling website. The website also carries lots more detail about the event and artists taking part.

Potfest Scotland, Scone Palace

I’m so pleased to have been selected to appear at Potfest Scotland again this year. It’s great fun taking part and all the better if the sun shines. I’m busy creating new work to take along.
